Hi!
My name is Jane!
You have found what I call my “passion project” This is my creative outlet and I love sharing all of this information with World Wide Web!
A little bit about Sub Studies…
Sublimation Studies started as a way to organize my sublimation projects and journal them. I started getting alot of beginner information questions and quickly realized that there wasn’t a lot of information easily available.
And a little bit about me…
I am the daughter of a printer, growing up, my parents owned a fine art print studio. I grew up playing on the floors of dark rooms and learning how to drain the chemicals from the machines.
As the print industry drastically changed in the 2000’s, with the digital push, I watched as the dark rooms get turned into new rooms filled with fancy machinery. As I got even older, I found myself working in the print shop. When the time came, I went off to college and never thought about my days at the print shop for years.
I started in the decorating industry via embroidery and that grew to vinyl/HTV and then of course to sublimation. Don’t tell my parents this, but I guess I emulate them more than I give them credit for. I own a couple of small business and I have a blog about a print-based decorating process. I guess it has gone full circle.
I wouldn’t trade my experience in the print shop for anything, it truly has created such a strong foundation for not only this blog but also the decorating industry. I hope that Sub Studies can help you a little along the way. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at: Sublimationstudies@gmail.com if you need anything!

Hi Jane I am very new to sublimation printing , and look forward to reading all your information. I was wondering if you could send me the link to the ICC Profile for Mac.
I order my sublimtion ink threw Amazon and they sent me the clink to Inkxpro.com Knowledgeable. This is were I found your information, when I got to the part with the ICC profiles I could not get the link to work to down load the profile.
I have a Epson Stylus C88+, I use Photoshop and the Shilouette Studio software, if that helps. Thank you for help with this mater. Sincerely DJ Brezsko
Hi DJ! If you fill this form out, and the profile will be sent! https://mailchi.mp/7162da82b5cc/inkxproprofile
Hello Jane, I just purchased an Epson Artison 1430, I review your post and see that you use Inkxpro for your epson 1430. Can you tell me if you still use inkxrpo or have you tried another sublimation ink?
My inkXpro cartridges stopped working since I did the review. I ordered InkOwls cartridges and ink and love them.
Hi
Thank you for the review but wondering why buy ink owl 120ml @ $74.95 which seems to be your preference brand over the genuine Epson T49M, 140ml @ $71.80?
Your input is appreciated
Cheers
Hi James,
Great question! When I originally wrote this article, Sublimation Epson ink was not on the market. Also, unless you are buying an Epson printer designed for sublimation, you will still need a profile to make the Epson ink effective, which is not offered by Epson. So if you are buying a normal Epson Printer and “Converting” it, then Ink Owl may be your best option.
Im not able to download the icc profile, where it says click to download the button is not clickable
Send me an email at sublimationstudies@gmail.com and I will send it to you!
