Let’s Get Started!

I printed on two of these rugs for this tutorial so you may see it going back and forth between a yellow and a green rug! Either way, the steps are all the same!

First, choose the design you want to print. For the yellow one, I printed a store logo and on the green mat I printed a monogram inital. The flourish design set came from (here).

Print Design

Fold design in half and make a light crease on the top center

Spray with adhesive

Find the center and align the paper up where it needs to be

Once you have it in place, I use a stapler to make sure the paper won’t move in my two presses! You typically see through the paper where the design is printed and I staple in the blank area!

Cover with butcher paper and press!

Time to press! based on where your press is and what is around it you can decide what side to press first. I press the right side first and then slide the right and press the left side. I pressed at 400 degrees for 75 seconds with medium to high pressure.

All peel off the paper and enjoy!

XOXO,

Jane
